Once the editing task(s) to be completed are agreed on, Pamela will prepare a service agreement and request a retainer of 30% of the estimate to be paid before starting the project. The retainer also serves to hold your place in her calendar, which fills up quickly.
Publishing Consultation Add-on:
Pamela offers publishing consultation to assist authors with publication following a copy or line edit. Billed at her hourly rate, publishing consultation will provide resources and guide your next steps toward publication. Pamela can provide referrals for book formatting and layout, cover design, and proofreading, as well as assist with steps such as obtaining ISBNs, contracting with book printing services, and more.
